Printer set up in Pattern Maker does not work any more. Initially it worked with different printers. It does nothing any more. After function is activated, it terminates and notes "Done". I can not change printer or paper size any more. Dxf files can not be opened by AutoCAD.
I tried to change the default printer on Windows, but this does not seem to have impact.
Should I re-install Pattern Maker?
I'm running Pattern Maker on Windows 10.

I would not reinstall PM.
I have noticed also a couple of times that after an update of Windows the printer gave problems. Reinstalling the printer did solve the problem.
The settings of PM could be corrupted. You could also try the following:
Go with explorer to My documents/patternmaker/personal files/config .
There is a file pm.cfg.
Delete this File.
Close the computer and restart.
Open PM again.
You have to set the units again.
Maybe this solves your printer problem.
If not mail me back so we can search further.

Thank you for your answer. There was something wrong with my Nitro pdf driver. I changed the default printer to another and it works again. It is kinda strange because other applications report error, while Pattern Maker just ignores the command (printer setting). However, I started working on my MacroGen and it does not work anymore. I found the Code generator had an error (missing dll file). I found dll file online and now code editor works. Pattern Maker works. Old macros made with MacroGen work. I tried reinstalling the MacroGen to get it to work, unsuccessfully. Now when I tried to register the MacroGen with my license - I got the message that No more licenses are available. I only have one laptop I'm running this aplication on, using only one license. How could I "run out licenses"? The MacroGen just stays frozen when I attempt to add a point. Any suggestions? Re-installation does not help. No other error messages are shown.
Please let me know if you need my registration #.

See first if you are still registered in Help/About.
You can read there if you are a registered user or not. So maybe again registering is not necessary.
When macrogen is not running properly try to do the following:
go with Explorer to My Documents/patternmaker/personal files/config
In this folder you will find file mg.cfg
Delete this file.
Close the computer and start again.
Then try running MG again.
One tip: when you start a new mg file save the file first when you start. There is a bug that some points are not drawn properly when the file is not saved first,
if it is not running please mail me with more information about where it is going wrong so we can see how to solve the problem.
If you are not registered anymore contact/mail Support at patternmaker software for raising the amount of registrations.
