After I upgraded Windows to Windows 10 my Macrogenerator doesn’t work any more. Opens in a small empty window has to be closed through Task Manager. Does anyone know how to fix this?

When you use Windows 10 you need to install the free upgrade MacroGen 4.5 and register again. Version 4 does not work with W10 anymore.
Did you do this already?
When yes go to the following folder:
My documents/patternmaker/personal files/config
And delete the mg.cfg file
Then your settings have been set to default which could solve the problem

eugenie, many thanks for htis info,I have not used patternmaker for a few years as have had a few messy personal issues, but plan to start again next month,I would have worried when I started macgen if you had not replied to oliva.I must admit to buying but not using macgen yet,I bought when I had funds ,but life took an odd turn and have been away from sewing for a while, again many thanks

MacroGen is a wonderful program to program your patterns with the drafting system you use. It is so nice to see when a macro runs and the pattern you programmed is nicely drawn with your own measurements.
